As noted on this blog at the start of the playoffs. Take Detroit to beat the Yankees, Take Milwaukee +400 and ST Louis +700 to win the National league championship. Well we have won money on those plays.

Detroit won in a great series and Milwaukee or St Louis will be representing the National League in the World Series! For price would love to see the Cardinals be the one but will take whatever comes down the pike.

The Philadelphia Phillies have got to be sick as another weaker team has kept them from the promised land. The Giants last year and now the Cardinals this year. Maybe this team does not have the heart to dig deep and make it happen. Maybe this team is happy with its World Series a few years ago. Whatever it is, hopefully no one loses their job and they keep this team intact. I love their whole team that has the pitching and hitting to get to the World Series for the next few years.

Detroit -105 Detroit will not have a letdown after such a tough series. Jim Leyland and his team had no doubt that they would beat the Yankees. Their manager kept to his word and saved his ace for game one of the next series. The Tigers as a whole want to win this for their manager as much as themselves. This man showed that he had faith in the whole team not just his stars.
