Will the NFL get the boost it needs from it's youth?

College Football was a good thing on Saturday with a 6-2 mark with the single unit plays and a solid 2-1 with the top selections. It always amazes me when a team like Texas Tech can beat Oklahoma at Oklahoma one week and the very next week at home get blown out by Iowa State. Things like that will never make sense.

The Stanford at U.S.C game, lived up to the hype and was a sloppy game of ages. U.S.C played a great football game with Stanford able to run away with it at the end. Stanford has a really solid running game. The game against Oregon later on should be a fun affair.

The NFL is here and there are not many plays but enough to have a fun Sunday. The fun game of the week will be Ponder at Newton. I mean Minnesota at Carolina. The two young quarterbacks should put on a great show.

If the Broncos and Tebow beat the Detroit Lions this week, hopefully the Tebow haters will see that this young man is a winner. He is not a typical Quarterback and he runs to much, but a win over the Lions will show that Tebow just has IT. If the Lions lose they will be on their way to a solid 8-8 record. As a Lion lover this would be a crappy way to see that the Lions still have a long way to go.

NFL 17-17 -1.70 units

Minnesota +3.5

Miami +10

Pittsburgh +3

Dallas +3

Have a great day
