Well the media and television people got what they wanted. Both the Ravens and the Niners lose on of all things special team errors. Who would have thought that the injury to Ted Ginn JR would have cost the Niners a trip to the Super Bowl.
Amazingly the media is saying what do the Niners have to do to fix their secondary? huh...The Niner defense pitched a shutout in the 2nd half with 6 sacks and a number of hits. You look and say the Niners gave up 10 points including overtime.
Kyle Williams, this is the man who took the place of Ted Ginn JR, he picked the worst time of his football life to make two mistakes. The Niners were dominating the second half when he did not run up to catch a punt. Instead of getting away from the football he remained close and it barley touched his right knee. A few plays later touchdown Giants.
I looked at the box score and got all I wanted out of the Niners. Their defense was dominating and the offense had done enough to win the Niner way. The Niners came close to overcoming Williams first mistake and settled for a tying field goal.
The game became a defensive struggle, which in Niner football. Another big Niner stop and getting the football back again Kyle Williams made sure his second error ended his teams season. Instead of a fair catch he made a catch and tried for that extra 2 yards with the football away from his body. Fumble and Giants go to the Super Bowl.
I cannot imagine the sick feeling the Niners coach felt as the way he preached to play the game was dropped on the 23 yard line. Oh sure the great Eli Manning and Tom Brady will meet again in the Super Bowl and the points will fly. Sad.
One last thing I would like to thank the media once again for the murder of Joe Paterno. Every idiot who jumped on the bus to commit this murder should really feel proud, you should all go to prison.
Have a great day.
