Well it was nice to see V.C.U take care of business and not have to wait around for the call like Drexel will have to do this week. Drexel went 19-1 over their last 20 games and deserve to play in the tournament.
Detroit taking care of Valparaiso was a great move for them as well and if Valparaiso doesn't get the nod they can look at one of the bottom Big East teams that do not deserve to represent as the bullshit pick to dance.
For the most part things have gone as predicted, with a one or two seed winning their conference tournaments. This will allow for some of the teams that lost in their conference finals to get the well deserved invite. No real upsets of any kind this year.
I am a big believer in Stanford, California, Arizona, Washington getting the chance to play for it all this year but the PAC 12 will probably only get 2 teams in. The reason being is for some reason the selection guys will overload the tournament with Big East teams again. I even like Oregon and or Oregon State to get in but it will not happen.
I will say it again watch out for Belmont who lost by 3 to Duke and had a real chance to beat Duke but came up short. Belmont will probably get a 12 seed which they really deserve a 5 seed at worst.

March is coming
Took a couple day's to lick my gapping wounds from the Super Bowl. First of all the Niners should have been there. 2nd of all the Patriots had a solid 8 point lead and after the lead had been knocked down to two the Patriots were in a spot to score very late and leave little or no time on the clock for Manning and company.
Who would believe that one of the best possesion recievers of this age dropped a 2nd down pass that would have put the ball on the 20. So Brady is being totured and being told he cannot win the big one but really one play does not make a legend not.
I am a fan of no one but I love defense and rushing which made this Super Bowl a farce for me as you had two poor defenses although they were both underated. I geuss it just must be that easy. Play the hot team or the seemingly hot team.
NCAA Basketball 90-88 nothing great and the odds makers are reallhy that good. I cannot tell you how many half point losses and wins I have had wow.
NBA 33-24 I hate the NBA but the stats this year have not lied.

Tech plays on the hardwood, Horses are hot as hell

If you take a look at the videos on fullcardreports.com you will find that the last few days have been masterpieces. There has been so much money made by fullcardreports.com customers there has been many signers.
From Sunland Park, to Aqueduct, Turfway Park, Sam Houston and many other tracks with so many horses paying 20 plus dollars that have been right at the top of the report. The public has no idea why these horses pop up and pay 40 dollars after showing nothing the last few starts. The public thinks fluke. The fullcardreports.com customer knew it was coming.
Oh yes Oaklawn Park a little 40 dollar horse that after looking at the report you wouls have had the winner, exacta, trifecta and Boom!!!
Yesterday with 2 minutes to post I opened my reports to see a standout within seconds and as that horse that finished 8 of 9, last and last in the horses last 3 races I had no problem seeing the pace was in my favor and all the exactas were paying very well.
Oh yes then there was the single by 3 by 4 by 4 for a 36 dollar pick 4 ticket that paid a lousy 577 bucks. Mid stretch it looked like the 2600 payoff was in order but the favorite caught em and the payoff was 577.

How is that HORSESHOE, NEW YORK
Well the Giants and that massive horseshoe they have had up their ass came through to win the Super Bowl. It did not matter how many fumbles or almost interceptions that they got away with. It was their time to win. I do not believe in this is the way it was to come out. The way way things came out in all of this I really almost believe is destiny.
Passes bouncing off of defensive players, fumbles that had four players around the ball to 1 and finding a way to keep the ball. Having one of the best pair of hands in Welker not catching a ball that would have ended the game in the Patriots favor, bouncing harmlessly to the ground and giving the ball back to Eli with over 4 minutes to go. In the last minute a solid receiver in Branch dropping a ball that would have gotten the Patriots down to the 30 with over 40 seconds to go with 1 timeout remaining.
Things like this continued to happen for the Giants. No running game and never touching Brady until the 4th quarter, which on the stat sheet made it look like they were all over him. My worse nightmare is seeing a C defense win the big one. It does not make sense that a weak team got all of the breaks and won it all. It hit me hard with a bet and I take this stuff seriously when the weak get all the breaks. Not go out and win but get every bounce and lucky break, I MEAN EVERY LUCKY BREAK. There should have been two interceptions against the Forty Niners and at least 2 fumble recoveries for the Patriots. Then there was the blown whistle call that no one thought was important. The media, the announcers hell even the Bay Area media did not bring it up. The play was alive and the Forty Niners should have had the ball on the 10 yard line going in to end the Giants.
It is a fact that that was a fumble and the play had not stopped referee shit call or not. The whistle had not stopped the play. PERIOD!!!
Is Manning Elite? I really do not know the answer to this but he got all the breas and more then just one. Good for the Giants and good for their coach but it was very wrong.
While the Niners bet and the Patriots bet which ere 5 times to much for what I do was the real mistake. I went 4-0 in Basketball and still had a over then average losing day. I went 4-2 overall and lost money now that is very poor money management. One of my very good friends in the handicapping world kept asking why I was so upset over just another wager. I felt like an idiot and could not tell him how pathetic my money management was.
I cannot say it enough a play is a play and other then maybe a 2 unit selection there is no reason to not stay with your money management plan. Stay with one unit or max two unit selections. This is the only way to stay ahead of the game. I hit 60% of my NFL plays and two games almost made me a loser in the NFL. That is not how to show a long term profit. Right now I am at almost 60% in the NBA and I am showing a profit, the way it should be. In college basketball I am only at 56% but with solid money management I am showing a profit.
That is the point here 1 or 2 units. If your down then stick with 1 unit selections. When you are on a roll then look for some 2 unit selections. Stick with this and be a long term winner.

Super Bowl plays with a number of PROPS and Baskets!!!
The Super Bowl has arrived, or the offenses have arrived and this year in the NFL defense does not matter at all. Through the years, the worst you will get is a B versus A in the defensive area of the football.
After the miracle television ratings must win games of the Patriots against the Giants, we have two shit defenses going up against one another. I rate teams A, B, C as it get's no worse then C.
This year the Giants have the C defense with no running game. Another thing that champions usually have is a solid running game to end the game when ahead. The Giants rush for under a 100 yards a game while the Patriots are respectable at 111 a game on the ground. It is far from ground and pound. It is 5 receiver sets where the running back gets a free run up the middle for at least 6yards.
So instead of two incredible A defenses with the Ravens and Forty Niners and an epic defensive struggle we get two shit defenses who have leaky secondaries. It so happens that the strength of both teams is throwing the football.
The average fan is going to love the track meet that I see coming down the road today. By all rights it looks as though the Giants should have been a very good running team this year but it did not happen this way. I don't know if the running backs have no guile or if the blocking schemes were not right to pound the football.
I like everyone on the planet told my son right after the Forty Niner game that without looking at anything that the Giants were the easy play. Well everyone on the planet stayed with that pick. I have read, watched and heard why the Giants cannot lose this big game.
Then I made my charts and broke this game down as I would any other game. I could not believe my eyes. The New England Patriots are a very strong play on Sunday. They have the better defense, and an outstanding offense that will give the Giants all kinds of problems. Unlike the injured Packers, the no dimensional Falcons and the short handed Forty Niners. New England has a legit 5 headed monster on offense.
Besides the 5 headed monster, better coaching and the sneaky defense that is better then the Giants the Patriots are the number one seed riding the most silent 10 GAME WINNING STREAK in football history!!! That's correct a 10 game winning streak. That makes two very hot teams, with one team getting completely overlooked. Back to the 5 headed monster.
Start at the top. Tom Brady, he and the best coach in football had God status taken away from them in 2007/2008 Super Bowl. I have been told their is no revenge in the Super Bowl. To a point I believe this. This coach and this quarterback remember what happened and coach has worked overtime to try and duplicate what the Forty Niners did to the Giants in the second half of the NFC Championship game. But for 2 fumbles by Kyle Williams the Forty Niners would be here in full defensive force. Tom has been told his entire career his short comings and the perfect season was taken away by luck in the end. He will play out of his mind.
Wide Out Branch as I have been told by more then one person is not a speedster, so how will he do anything in the game? I have been told this by more then one good handicapper but I have an outlook that will let Branch have a great game. A game that he had when he was an MVP in the Super Bowl. It is all about match ups and schemes. The tight end is the main weapon for the Patriots and he will be getting a lot of attention. Doubled and spied, so what will this do? It will allow Branch to sneak down the sideline on a wheel route or a stop and go and their will be 5 or 6 deep chances that mister Brady will not miss. I see Branch making 2 deep catches for huge plays.
Tight end, he will get open down the middle early and often. With his speed and size he will give the weak Giants secondary fits. Now the very fun part. When he is doubled and stopped look for Hernandez and Welker to light it up underneath. When Branch, Welker and Hernendez are covered a running back will slide out and gaind a quick 12 to 15 yards. There are weapons short, medium and deep. It will be very hard for the Giants to cover it all.
Wes Welker will be the outlet from hell for the Patriots by getting his 10-12 cathes at 10-15 yars at a time. If the RAVENS could not hammer Tom Brady then he will have time to find his five headed monster. Tom will throw for 350 at least with all of his receivers getting open with time.
Star Tight end. Hernandez, Welker, This is the biggest game of Ocho Cinco's career and like Boldin like last week the veteran will show up. Then their is Branch who has done great in big games. I am leaving out the two capable running backs who will have opportunities. Again the Giants will not be capable of covering all of those weapons. Look for the forgotten one mister Cinco to have his chances all game. I am happy for him, it has been a long time coming to get to this one game that matters. If Boldin for the Ravens can show heart, so can mister Cinco!
Funny part that when all of these guys are getting open, it will open some huge running lanes.
So a better defense, a defense that only has to slow down two wide outs and and the tight ends who will not get a bunch of attention.

I really see the Patriots scoring in the 40s but I do not want to overstep what I really think. Remember I did not stay they would stop the Giants. I said Slow down the mighty G men.
One last thing about this Super Bowl.
I have read on many gambling sites, which I do not do often because I have my own though process. I would say after reading up to 150 blogs and this is not media but other handicappers. There is a difference of 140 New York Giants and the under picks and no more then 10 saying New England or the under. I have never seen a great team so over looked as the team that has won 10 games in a row and are the number one seed from the AFC.
The MEDIA, well that is a different story. I have not seen one media type pick the New England Patriots. I will say it again. Patriots winners of 10 in a row. The Patriots are the number one seed. The Patriots who have key players that have won more then one Super Bowl. We call it the squares and the squares are all over the New York Giants and the under. the public is never on the under. This game they are allover the under, which I am either the worst handicapper on the planet or the Bookies are going to make a killing.
I have a handicapping friend for 15 years that I have the most respect for of any handicapper I know and I could not bribe him to take the Patriots. He said it is all about the squares and today he called himself the square of all squares. I am bummed but will never talk someone off of a dog. He is on the dog with me so at least he is on the book makers side for half of the game. I mean this is one of two people in the handicapping world that I will every now and again play some of his plays. He will also play some of my plays as well but we tend to do our own thing. When we agree it is magic.
The NBA has been very strong while waiting for the Super Bowl and College hoops is holding it's own.

Look for the forgotten one mister Cinco to have his chances all game. I am happy for him, it has been a long time coming to get to this one game that matters. If Boldin for the Ravens can show heart, so can mister Cinco!
Funny part that when all of these guys are getting open, it will open some huge running lanes.
So a better defense, a defense that only has to slow down two wide outs and and the tight ends who will not get a bunch of attention.

I have read on many gambling sites, which I do not do often because I have my own though process. I would say after reading up to 150 blogs and this is not media but other handicappers. There is a difference of 140 New York Giants and the under picks and no more then 10 saying New England or the under. I have never seen a great team so over looked as the team that has won 10 games in a row and are the number one seed from the AFC.
The MEDIA, well that is a different story. I have not seen one media type pick the New England Patriots. I will say it again. Patriots winners of 10 in a row. The Patriots are the number one seed. The Patriots who have key players that have won more then one Super Bowl. We call it the squares and the squares are all over the New York Giants and the under. the public is never on the under. This game they are allover the under, which I am either the worst handicapper on the planet or the Bookies are going to make a killing.
I have a handicapping friend for 15 years that I have the most respect for of any handicapper I know and I could not bribe him to take the Patriots. He said it is all about the squares and today he called himself the square of all squares. I am bummed but will never talk someone off of a dog. He is on the dog with me so at least he is on the book makers side for half of the game. I mean this is one of two people in the handicapping world that I will every now and again play some of his plays. He will also play some of my plays as well but we tend to do our own thing. When we agree it is magic.
The NBA has been very strong while waiting for the Super Bowl and College hoops is holding it's own.

Tiger, The Super Bowl and a review of the year
Well I almost called the ball with a Tiger win. He just couldn't help himself on the final day. It was the only day where he started hitting the ball left off the tee. You knew he was in trouble on the very first swing of the day and even after going par-birdie-birdie, it was false. Tiger will win a major this year and will have at least 4 or 5 wins all year. Bold but true.
I never thought in this day and age that the Patriots would be completely looked over in any no less a Super Bowl. I was like everyone when at first glance that the Giants were the easy play in the Super Bowl.
I then did the stats on the game and will be making a strong play on the Patriots. They have the better defense overall and their offense has 4 weapons who can all catch the ball and will make the Giants playing Atlanta and the Forty Niners seem like playing a college team.
I watched the film on the Niner game and other then Vernon Davis Crabtree was a non player in the game against the Giants. It was welcome to physical playoff football young man. Every single play he was knocked off of his route by a physical cover man. I did not note 5 plays where he got off the ball and into his route. Makes it very tough on a quarterback to only have one viable option on every play.
Before the cries of the Giants crushed the Packers and made them look like little boys. It is true that the Giants dominated the Packers. The score was in no way indicative of how dominating the Giants were against the Packers. Once again a coach learned a lesson in the worst manner possible. The Packers with the bye week and resting their starters for the last 2 weeks of the season were well of of their game. The timing was off with Rodgers and his wide outs. A month off is to long to rest and play at the top of ones game.
The Packers also had one of the worst defenses in football giving up close to 500 yards a game. Jennings should not have been playing at all and for the first time all year the Packers had their offensive line beat up and if it was a regular season game three of those linemen would not have been playing. A perfect storm to lose.
The Giants have been one of the good stories this season. Fighting all the way and making it to the Super Bowl. They survived 3 possible interceptions with Niners running into one another rather then ending the Giants run. The Niners special teams had carried them for much of the year and 2 fluke fumbles gave the Giants 10 points in the second half. The Giants were dominated in the 2nd half and got 2 breaks that gave them 10 points.
The Patriots coach is a smart man and he will have broken down the film from the Niner game every possible way. He doesn't have the talent that the Niners have on their front line but he can run corner blitz's and will find a way to slow the Giants down. He doesn't have the talent to stop them but he will find a way to slow them down, thanks to the Niners and what they did in the 2nd half of their game.
I have been told that their is no revenge in the Super Bowl. The past doesn't matter. I say that is bullshit. The Patriots coach and Tom Brady were on the doorstep of being football gods in 2007. The undefeated season and everything that goes with it. The fact that this was taken away from the Patriots does play a piece in this game. Maybe a small part but this is a fact.
The Giants will not be able to shut down all 4 receivers for the Patriots. The Patriots have the middle covered with their tight end who will be playing. The underneath with Welker, and if that gets taken away look for Branch to get a cheap long touchdown or more. Alex Smith had his chances to hit a couple very deep passes, but missed. Tom Brady will not miss his chances.
When all the passing game gets going then the Patriots will get a few cheap 12 to 20 yard runs. The Giants on the other hand do have their weapons. With Nicks hurt, this will hurt Crews. I am not talking 7 stops in a row I am talking a couple stops and settling for a couple field goals instead of touchdowns.
The public and a few pro players are all over the Giants. The Giants and the under as a matter of fact. The books have had a tough year and with a great Super Bowl any and all losses will get wiped out. I have seen this story before. Public thinks it will be easy money and the books get the last and biggest laugh.
Think about it, you play the small favorite in the Super Bowl and it happens to be the New England Patriots 15-3 with a 10 game winning streak. You get to be with the books and have the number one seed against a 12-7 team who is a 4 seed.
The Patriots will score no less then 35 points. I really think the Patriots will score in the 40's but I will settle with 35. The Giants will score no less then 21 points and with a couple field goals the Giants end up with 27.
If you do a little math, even on the low end this game will sky over the total. As the public and some pro's look back at 2007. The under looks good to many people as well. What a perfect storm. The better team, the better seed, and we get to be on the bookmakers side. It doesn't get any better then this my friends.
Take The patriots and the Over. Be a winner along with Vegas.

He is BACK
Tiger Woods opens up his 2012 golf year with a 2 under 71. That is not the real story though. He hit 17 green in regulation and hit all but on e fairway. The score and putting not the real story. He had 34 putts, which is understandable after a long break. 30 putts is about where a pro would like to be and with those Greens in regulation and fairways hit a 65 or 64 was not out of the question.
I was under the impression a year ago that with all of Tiger's troubles. Divorce, swing change and mental state. It would be a long time before any improvement was evident. I was wrong. This man is going to have a huge year. hate to say it but he must have two or three girlfriends to get his juices flowing again.
I would even say he will win a Major this year! I can hardly believe I am even saying this but at the right odds, A YES Tiger will win a Major this year. Right now the odds are as high as will ever be on Tiger to get a Major this year. I think I saw +260 or more out there. After this year he will be minus a lot. Get the best odds you will ever get on any Tiger wager.
You may want to check out what the odds are for Tiger to win this week. Any odds over +200 and I believe it is a green light play. I had buried this man and would have told you to bet against Tiger at all costs. The man is a great golfer and if he comes on strong this year, Jack's Major record is once again in Tigers grasp.

Must be year of change for me betting wise. I usually pass on the NBA but with the short season and teams having some odd schedules, the NBA has some very nice chances at making some money.
Yesterday I played the Golden State Warriors as a 3 point favorite against the Portland Trail Blazers. After you look at the records and the way the two teams were playing you would have to be on Portland....The night before Portland beat a streaking Memphis team and had won two in a row. The Warriors had lost three heart breakers. The Warriors in their very last game had blown a 20 point lead against Memphis and the game before that lost another one they should have won versus Indiana.
So why Golden State?
A very nice thing happened(not in the eyes of Portland) The Trail Blazers were playing their 3rd game in three nights! Sure enough it worked out the way one would think. Portland led at the half but were only shooting 44%. Golden State was shooting 51% but were getting out rebounded by a large amount in the first half. In the 3rd quarter, Golden State kept shooting well and Portland started to look a little tired on the boards. 4th Quarter was a grind but the Warriors wore a tired Blazers team down and won by 8. Sometimes records and stats do not matter as much as a fresh team wearing down a tired team. Thank you schedule makers.
That is a wonderful example of paying attention to all aspects of any sport.

When wrong is right and right is wrong
As we dive further into the College Basketball season and conference play is in full swing we can take a strong look at betting the hoops.
One of my favorite plays in College Basketball is to play on the home favorite of an un ranked team, when favored over a ranked team. This is a classic case of of betting on the wrong team and against a public trap.
This little beauty used to hit at close to 90 percent, but the odds makers got wise and for a few years this was corrected and people stopped making the play. The Average guy is going to play that ranked team almost every time.
The fact is that the odd makers generally do not make mistakes and again you would be putting yourself on the book makers side. Remember only 2 percent of all sports bettors win. Most people know this yet will always go with the easy looking play. Over and over I see smart people get sucked into the easy play.
There is never an easy play. There are however plays that have a better then average chance to win. In College Basketball you can also keep a list of go against teams. I try to not make go with teams because go with teams after a while are over bet and the lines will reflect this.
A good rule of thumb if you play on a road team in College Basketball, you must believe they are better by 10 points or more to get the straight up win. Keeping this in mind always read the lines.
The wrong side right side play for me is rather odd. Most sports I look to always go with an underdog. In the case of wrong side right side I will always be on the favorite. This for a time was tough to play but with over 60% winners, I take my chances.
The NBA or the biggest piece of shit sport on the planet, is a very tough beat. As in all sports their are a few gems that will give you few plays that will show you a profit.
Play on a rested team at home that is a 6 point favorite or more, against a team that played at home the night before. This play over time has hit at a solid 56 to 58% and you will not find a play every night.
You will not have a ton of plays and as with any mode of play make sure you have a game plan. Do not throw in more plays just because you crave the action. Always have a bankroll plan a handicapping plan and find your strengths and weaknesses.
THIS IS THE IMPORTANT part....If it has not worked in the past it will not all of the sudden work in the future. This is not to say you cannot have losing streaks. You will always have losing streaks. The question is....Are you a winning player or do you fool yourself over and over, year after year and make no changes to become a winning player.
It takes work and it takes going back through past results over hundreds of results, even thousands of results. If you continue to lose then quit. If you always look at a game and say that this team is better then that team so they must win...QUIT....Or learn how to win.

The dead are alive and the alive are fading
After a great start on Sunday, it ended up being a right down the middle type of day. Going 2-2 with our regular plays and 2-2 with our double plays. Some of the outcomes yesterday raised some teams from the dead and brought others down to earth.
In the last 3 minutes of the Sunday night game, the Giants not only hurt the Cowboys. The Giants pumped a little life into the Philadelphia eagles. It is not much but the Eagles are alive. The Cowboys were a open pass away from ending the Giants and Eagles seasons. A game of inches.
Earlier in the day Denver was about to let all of their good work go to waste when Marion Barber decided to not take a hit and stay in bounds, but to casually waltz out of bounds and stop the clock. The Broncos got the ball back with no timeouts and 56 seconds on the clock. TEBOW time. After going 3-15 the first 3 quarters, Mister Tebow completed 75 % of his passes in the 4th quarter and overtime and put the dagger in another team. Tim Tebow is the 3rd ranked quarterback in the 4th quarter behind Eli Manning and Aaron Rogers this season. The man is a winner.
With the crazy win by Denver and the Raiders for the 2nd week in a row not making the trio to the stadium, brings the San Diego Chargers back to life. The Chargers over the last 5 years have the best record in December in football history. If San Diego could start a season just splitting out their early games they could be a dynasty.
One more quick note. With the Raiders down 0-31 at the end of the first half, history was made. A Raider team has never been that far behind at the half in the history of the franchise.
The Forty Niners finally got caught kicking to many field goals. In what should have been a first half blowout turned into a nail biter then a close lose. I had been waiting to see what would happen if Alex Smith had to come to the rescue late in a game. He had 3 chances in the 4th quarter and failed to move the football.
The change with that game is the Niners, who looked to have the 2nd seed all wrapped up a few weeks ago are now in real trouble of having no bye and only one home game. With a win they will have to go to New Orleans or Green Bay a week earlier then hoped.
The Raiders, Chargers, San Francisco, Philadelphia and the N.Y Giants must win out in order to have a shot at the playoffs. This will make for many meaningful games coming down the stretch and in turn many betting opportunities.
I do have to mention the NBA. Wow what a tangled web the NBA office has weaved. Why have general managers? There have been many one sided trades in the NBA for decades and now you get a fair trade all the way around and the NBA voids said trade. Does not make any sense at all. The owner of the Cavaliers was upset that the Lakers would be under the cap and his team would not benefit financially if this was the case. A joke.

Tim Tebow is the 3rd ranked quarterback in the 4th quarter behind Eli Manning and Aaron Rogers this season. The man is a winner.
With the crazy win by Denver and the Raiders for the 2nd week in a row not making the trio to the stadium, brings the San Diego Chargers back to life. The Chargers over the last 5 years have the best record in December in football history. If San Diego could start a season just splitting out their early games they could be a dynasty.
One more quick note. With the Raiders down 0-31 at the end of the first half, history was made. A Raider team has never been that far behind at the half in the history of the franchise.
The Forty Niners finally got caught kicking to many field goals. In what should have been a first half blowout turned into a nail biter then a close lose. I had been waiting to see what would happen if Alex Smith had to come to the rescue late in a game. He had 3 chances in the 4th quarter and failed to move the football.
The change with that game is the Niners, who looked to have the 2nd seed all wrapped up a few weeks ago are now in real trouble of having no bye and only one home game. With a win they will have to go to New Orleans or Green Bay a week earlier then hoped.
The Raiders, Chargers, San Francisco, Philadelphia and the N.Y Giants must win out in order to have a shot at the playoffs. This will make for many meaningful games coming down the stretch and in turn many betting opportunities.
I do have to mention the NBA. Wow what a tangled web the NBA office has weaved. Why have general managers? There have been many one sided trades in the NBA for decades and now you get a fair trade all the way around and the NBA voids said trade. Does not make any sense at all. The owner of the Cavaliers was upset that the Lakers would be under the cap and his team would not benefit financially if this was the case. A joke.

Hot or not do not get sucked in
On a nice run right now. The toughest part of being on fire is this. You start to believe you wont or cannot lose. You bet to much thinking you cannot lose. You will have winning streaks and losing streaks. You must survive both.
I took 3 days off. I could not find value and I did not want to push it. Wrote down some NHL plays and they went 3-2 +2.00 units. That does show that I am still streaking so I look forward to Saturday's card.
It has been amazing how so many scumbags play with younger boys. Really. Why will men play with other adult men or woman? Some real sick people out there.
10 year deals in baseball have a tendency to fail. Hopefully the 254 million dollar deal lives up to all it must be. David Stern what were you thinking? The teams involved did everything correct. The Lakers gave up more then they had to. The Rockets got their star and New Orleans was not left in the cold like they will be when Paul leaves at the end of the season.

Who has to win? Dallas or Miami and Baseball for Sunday
What team for the NBA final is in a must win situation for Game # 6 ?
Well it must be Miami they have to win to stay alive you stupid jerk, you may be saying to yourself right now. As Lee Corso might say(Not so fast my friend).
Sure Miami does have to win to stay alive and if they lose they will be called failures, fakes and losers. That is also furthest from the truth as you can get. This is the first year for these 3 wonderful players and with time they will accomplish a lot maybe 2 or 3 championships.
The arrogance of Wade was laughable as he said this is the greatest threesome of all time before winning anything including 60 plus games in a season or even achieving a number one seed. I would take Bill Russell, Cousey and anyone on those teams as the 3rd player. How about Bird, Parrish and Mc Hale? Maybe Magic, Worthy, and Kareem. Hell even Garnett, Pierce, and that former Sonics gaurd who this year set the record for made 3 pointers. Last but not least Jordan, Pippen, and any number of players in that 3rd spot.
James, Wade and Bosh could become great but they have a lot to prove and will have to get used to one another and that will come in time if they can also think as well as play the game. The ignorance of acting like Dirk was faking a fever even though Dirk did not make a big deal out of it, just made Dirk work harder in the next game not good mind games there children.
All that being said they can still win it all and if they win game #6 history shows us that game#7 at home are won almost 80% of the time in all sports.
So it becomes a must win for Dallas because they do know the odds if they do not win game #6, the pressure is so ramped up against Dallas that they will really have to withstand the first 5 or 6 minutes and do not choke out of the building.
Here is why they will not choke out of the building and it will take something very special from the big 3 for Miami. I mean like 30 plus points from all 3 and the Miami bench out scoring the Dallas bench for only the 2nd time in the series.
Also Dallas and this TEAM have been building to this championship as the Bulls did and as the bad boy Pistons did. In the NBA most of the time Champions build to that special finish after a few failures but keeping most of the pieces of the puzzle together.
Kidd, Terry and Dirk have been here before and have not finished it off, Kidd did not really have the option to finish it as he was on 2 Nets teams that were not that good.
After those 3 guys who have waited a career for this game#6 the difference besides total bench points, experience and working together for a while will be Shawn Marion. If he is athletic tonight and shows his true grit it will open things up for everyone one the Dallas side of things.
It is a true must win for both teams but when it comes to all around team basketball and using a teams mental stability look for Dallas +5 to end the Miami Heat season.

San Francisco -110 The Giants win over 60% of the time at home and most of the time you have to lay the wood so at -125 or less they are very playable. A win for the Giants today gives them a 6-4 homestand so the odds are just fine.

NBA Playoffs Game of the year
Finals Game #2
Miami Heat up 1-0 in the best of 7 series.

Miami comes into this game 9-0 at home in the playoffs. The big 3 look unstoppable with Bosh leading the way. He has had the best all around game for the Miami Heat with Wade and James doing the scoring.
In Game 1 the Dallas Mavericks got out rebounded by the Miami Heat 10 total boards and a staggering 10 offensive rebounds. That is a dominating number to work with. You can see why the Heat came back in the second half of game 1.
In Game 1 Dirk Nowitzki was held under 50% from the field for only the 2nd time in 11 playoff games. Dirk got little help from Peja Stojakovic, JJ Barea and Brendon Hayward who combined for a total of 5 points!
A weakness for the Miami Heat all season and into the playoffs, has been their bench scoring. In game 1 they outscored the Dallas bench 27-22. The Dallas Mavericks bench has been one of the top scoring squads all year, look for a big turn around in game 2 for the Mavericks.
Getting out rebounded and with little help from Dirk Nowitki's supporting cast, Dallas found a way to only get beat by 8.
This will get us to a favorite angle in the playoffs, play the team that lost the previous game outright against the spread in the very next game. What makes this a 2 unit selection, is that Dallas was dominated on the boards and players that average 23 points a game were held to 5 total point. It was not the defense that shut these players down but very poor shooting.
Look for the Mavericks bench to rebound and outscore the Miami Heat bench and win this game outright.
